Pilates Education Lab Intermediate Program

The Intermediate Program option  gives you the opportunity to learn the Introductory- through Intermediate- level repertoire and develop your teaching skills and understanding. An extraordinary training program on its own, it also prepares you to continue with the Advanced Program should you choose.

The PEL Intermediate Program is a comprehensive classically focused Pilates Mat and Apparatus training program.  It includes the following:

  • Pilates Mat:  You’ll learn fundamental movement skills as well as the Introductory- to Super Advanced-level Pilates Mat exercises, coupled with functional anatomy and kinesiology training as it relates to teaching the exercises. We will discuss modifications and variations, including use of the Magic Circle, small weights, the wall and other props
  • Pilates Apparatus: You’ll learn Introductory- to Intermediate-level exercises on the Reformer, Cadillac/Tower, Wunda Chair, High Chair, Arm Chair, Barrels and Periphery Apparatus.

*Continuing Education Credits available (CEC’s) for Certified Pilates Teachers who choose to audit the lectures with no additional requirements.
