Whether you’re starting your teaching journey or preparing to continue into advanced certification, this comprehensive Pilates instructor training program equips you with the technical knowledge and embodied understanding essential for success in the studio or beyond.
What You’ll Learn
The PEL Intermediate Program is rooted in the Classical Pilates method and built around an in-depth study of movement, functional anatomy, and intelligent teaching strategies. You’ll gain hands-on experience with:
▸ Classical Pilates Mat Training
Learn and embody the full spectrum of exercises—from Introductory to Super Advanced Mat—alongside deep study in functional anatomy, kinesiology, and practical teaching applications. We also explore modifications and enhancements using the Magic Circle, small weights, wall work, and other props to support individual needs and movement quality.
▸ Pilates Apparatus Training
Gain a thorough exploration in Introductory through Intermediate-level exercises across all primary equipment, including the Reformer, Cadillac (Tower), Wunda Chair, High Chair, Arm Chair, Barrels, and Peripheral Apparatus (e.g. Foot Corrector, Pedi Pole, Toe Corrector, and more).
Note: Certified Pilates instructors are welcome to audit the lecture weekends as Continuing Education (CEC) hours—with no additional requirements.
